Artstone - Reconsituted Semi Dry Caststone:

How we manufacture it

Artstone, or semi dry caststone as it is more commonly known, is used mainly in the housing sector as an effective substitute to natural stone. The obvious potential of the material ensures significant cost benefits without compromising quality.

Production

As the name suggests the material is manufactured using moist, semi dry aggregates which are compacted into moulds using pneumatic hammers. It is then demoulded and the process is repeated. Significant numbers of masonry units can be manufactured in a day using this method.

Quality & Delivery

Production of quality semi dry caststone masonry is dependent on strict manufacturing criteria. The numerous challenges in achieving this standard is in our ability to combine the very best resources with our experience gained over many years. Our semi dry caststone complies fully with all aspects of BS 1217:1997. All our units are marked with the relevant component numbers to ensure easy identification, finally they are palleted shrink wrapped ready for delivery.
